Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes (born May 25, 1970) is a well-known American actress. Melina Kanakaredes is best known for portraying detective Stella Bonasera on CBS's police procedural drama CSI: NY, Dr. Sydney Hansen and Lane Hunter respectively on NBC's drama Providence. The actress also won acclaim for her dramatic television debut in the role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap series Guiding Light. The notable films she has appeared in include 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a feature film by Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is believed to be in production. In addition, she is filming a brand new television series called Gods & Heroes.
